Option to disable scroll animations

When jumping between locations within the same file, a short scroll animation is presented. I find this makes navigation feel sluggish (e.g. in comparison to IntelliJ where this animation doesn't play). It's also a bit inconsistent as there's no animation when jumping across files…

My ask is for an option to disable this scroll animation. I tried to uncheck “Enable UI animations", to no avail.
